Anima Emblem Overview

The Anima Emblem grants the coveted Anima trait in TFT Set 17 "Space Gods," associated with the elite squad of hyper-competitive idol-fighters headlined by Fiora. Anima units synergize around ramping combat performance, gaining increasing bonuses as the fight progresses and chaining buffs across squad members. Because Anima is non-craftable, receiving one is always a meaningful signal: your lobby knows who's going for it, and you have a premium build path the rest cannot match. The trait's 3/6 breakpoints are both meaningful — 3 stabilizes early boards with the small stat buff, while 6 turns Fiora into a terrifying late-game carry with full squad support around her.

This emblem is non-craftable. It can only be obtained from augments, loot drops, or the Armory.

When to Use Anima Emblem

When the Anima Emblem appears in your loot — from an augment like Emblem Goldmancer, the Armory, or an orb — immediately treat it as a build signal rather than a splash. Prioritize pivoting into Anima Fiora if you're already playing flex or AD-based comps. The emblem is most valuable as the 6th Anima piece since it bridges a gap that the roster alone can't close without Briar and Aurora at 3-star. Hold off placing the emblem until stage 4 if you can, to confirm your board direction. Put it on a unit that already has two useful traits (Illaoi's Anima/Vanguard or Aurora's Anima/Voyager) so the emblem becomes a pure plus-one. Avoid placing Anima on Fiora herself — she's your carry slot and wants damage items. Contested lobbies increase the emblem's value further, since your natural Anima count will drop when others scoop units.

Best Champions for Anima Emblem

1

Illaoi

Illaoi is the premium emblem holder for Anima. Her native Anima/Vanguard/Shepherd kit means an emblem turns her into a 4-trait frontline anchor that simultaneously tanks, summons, and powers your backline.

2

Aurora

Aurora plays both Anima and Voyager, so an emblem hits two thresholds at once for secondary carry setups. Her heavy single-target burst scales beautifully with Anima ramping buffs.

3

Jinx

Jinx already carries Anima and Challenger. An emblem is essentially free — she reaches higher Anima breakpoints without sacrificing her Challenger DPS identity.

4

Fiora

As the anchor 5-cost, Fiora turns an emblem into a trait-stacker. Best used when you need the 6th Anima to unlock her full potential mid to late game.

Anima Emblem Synergies

Anima pairs naturally with Challenger (Jinx/Bel'Veth share attack-speed scaling), Marauder (Fiora's melee role), and Rogue (Briar is an Anima backline assassin). The trait is notably strong alongside Voyager because Aurora covers both origins, letting you vertical one while accruing progress on the other. Vanguard or Brawler frontlines provide the melee sponge Anima needs; with Illaoi already dual-trait on Vanguard, synergy stacking is easy. For utility, Conduit units like Aurora's support kit keep mana flowing for Fiora's Divine Duelist execute window.

Pro Tips for Anima Emblem

  • 1Anima Fiora is a top-4 consistency comp when you hit 6 Anima at level 8 — don't force the final breakpoint beyond that without an augment.
  • 2The emblem is best used on a frontline dual-trait unit (Illaoi, Aurora) rather than a pure DPS carry to preserve damage item slots.
  • 3Augments like Pandora's Bench and Birthday Present dramatically lift Anima's ceiling because rerolling Fiora and Briar matters.
  • 4Because Anima is non-craftable, treat it like a legendary armory drop — pivot your item build toward the comp you wouldn't otherwise commit to.
  • 5If you already have Fiora at 2-star in stage 4 and see the emblem offered, accept it immediately; the comp becomes top-1 achievable.
