A champion's cost (1–5 gold) sets both how often it appears in your shop and how strong it is — cheaper units are easy to 3-star by rolling at lower levels, while 4- and 5-cost units are board-defining carries you find by leveling. Matching champions that share traits is how you activate trait breakpoints; this page makes that overlap easy to spot at a glance.
