The Sprykin Emblem grants the Sprykin origin, laddering 3, 5, 7 across six champions: Kobuko and Veigar at one cost, Teemo at two, Rammus and Tristana at three and Gnar at five. Odd-numbered thresholds on a six-unit roster mean the natural board frequently strands at 4 or 6 — prime emblem territory. The trait's reward is a board piece with a decision attached: you gain the Big Furry Friend, and dropping a Sprykin onto it picks its Rider. That is a meaningfully different kind of bonus from a stat tier, because which Sprykin you have available shapes what the trait actually does for you, not just how much.

Sprykin's odd ladder is the strategic hook: boards routinely sit at an even count where one more Sprykin is a full tier. That makes this emblem one of the more reliably-convertible in the set — check your count, and if you're at 2, 4 or 6 it's a live unlock. Six champions means the top rung is reachable without help only by fielding literally every member, so in practice the emblem is what turns a realistic five-Sprykin board into 7 while leaving a slot for something else. Crafting costs Spatula + Negatron Cloak, a component tank items rarely fight over, keeping the slam cheap in practice; the Ravager Emblem is the only other recipe drawing on it. One caveat on the Rider mechanic: an emblem makes its holder count as a Sprykin champion for trait purposes, but whether the client lets you seat that holder on the Big Furry Friend is worth confirming in-game before you build a plan on it — the trait tooltip speaks about dropping a Sprykin, and day-one edge cases like this are exactly what patch notes clarify late.

Sprykin overlaps Brawler twice (Kobuko, Gnar), plus Invoker (Teemo), Defender (Rammus), Fae/Hunter (Tristana) and the Veigar caster pair — mostly cheap, flexible units, which is why Sprykin credit accumulates on many boards without trying. Half the roster costs two gold or less, and Kobuko and Veigar between them add Brawler, Blackthorn and Spellweaver on top of the origin, so the first three points of Sprykin are close to free for any board willing to hold them. The expensive end is narrow by comparison: Gnar alone occupies the five-cost slot, and he is shared with both Elderwood and Brawler.
